About Arzell
Arzell Thompson, Jr. has been drawing and painting since the age of 5. Later, in the 3rd grade, he sold his first watercolor to the Principal’s secretary.
Mr. Thompson achieved an Associate of Arts degree from Norman Rockwell’s “Famous Artists School” in the 1960s. Arzel has toured Germany, Italy, and France while in the U.S. Air Force as a Graphic Illustrator. He pursued art classes from art instructor, Herb Schrieber.
The artist known as Arzell owned a successful Art Gallery in the Fisherman Cove Restaurant of downtown Denver in the 1970s.
Arzell has lived and worked in Racine, Wisconsin and Denver, Colorado. He now resides in Duluth, Georgia and has a successful graphics consulting business and works as a professional artist.
